The Marin County Republican Central Committee (hereinafter referred to as the MCRCC) respects your privacy regarding the information you, our contributors and volunteers, share with us and as such treats it in the following manner:

Regarding Volunteer signups: Any information you share with the MCRCC about yourself during the process of signing up on our website, to be a volunteer or receive our newsletter, is kept strictly confidential. We do not share any of your data with any outside entities. It is used for: our monthly newsletter E-mailings; soliciting volunteers; announcing events, fundraisers and monthly meetings and for soliciting political contributions here in Marin County. We also occasionally will send an announcement on behalf of a neighboring county's Republican event or an event for a candidate, but under no circumstances do we share your data in any manner with anyone outside of the MCRCC. The only exception to this being a formal and legal request from law enforcement agencies during the course of their conducting an investigation. Furthermore, although political mailings are not considered SPAM under current law, we do follow all rules regarding such and every E-mail we send you will contain an opt-out provision.

Regarding contributions and personal financial information: During the course of raising funds, we will collect the necessary financial and personal information required to process those funds and comply with government regulations pertaining to campaign finance reporting. Information collected includes and is limited to your name, address, occupation/employer, phone, email and credit card/checking account information. We do not share this information with any outside entities. It is used strictly for the processing of your electronic payment. All information is stored electronically in encrypted, digital format by our payment processing partners who include our banking institution and credit card processor. Under no circumstances is any of your financial information stored locally by the MCRCC and in addition, we meet all Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance criteria.
