The Precinct Committee is responsible for tracking elective and appointive office. They find good candidates, support their campaigns, get out the voter and get our candidates elected. They also collaborate with the Voter Registration Committee to register new voters .
Frank Drouillard is Chair of the Voter Registration Committee and the interim Chair of the Precinct Committee. We are seeking volunteers for our “Leave No Vote Behind” campaign. Volunteers can sign up in the form below.
County Elective Offices

There are 325 elective offices throughout Marin County. Roughly half of them (161) are up for election in the June 2, 2026 primary.
Marin County Board of Supervisors
Mark Galperin is running for the District 1 seat while Chris Carpiniello is running for the District 5 seat. We’ll post their website links here when they become available.
State Office Candidates
The Marin GOP endorsed Chad Bianco for Governor, Ebie Lynch for Lt. Governor and Don Wagner for Secretary of State at a special meeting on February 17, 2026. We had previously endorsed Sonja Shaw for State Superintendent of Public Instruction and Herb Morgan for Controller.
We have two outstanding candidates for state regional offices. Tief Gibbs is our candidate for State Senate District 2. Eryn Cervantes is running for State Assembly for District 2. Both were endorsed by the Marin GOP in January; in February, they were endorsed by the Sonoma GOP.
The Marin GOP endorsed Mark McComas for State Board of Equalization District 2 at its February 26th meeting. BOE-2 covers 19 counties from the Oregon border to Ventura County.
In early March, the Marin GOP will endorse the remaining statewide candidates for office. They will endorse Michael Gates for Attorney General and either David Serpa or Jennifer Hawks for Treasurer.
