Voter ID – Goal Achieved!

Carl DeMaio announced that the signature goal has been achieved. But if you have signed ballots, send them in! Help him eliminate a significant amount of election fraud by supporting Voter ID.
Fix Prop 19
Before Prop 19, property passed to child/grandchild was reassessed. However, the property tax did not immediately increase. This was due to Propositions 58 and 193, which protected against higher taxes. This created affordable housing and fostered small business growth.
After Prop 19, the property is passed and reassessed. In many cases, a higher amount of yearly property tax is now due. Many cannot afford the sudden and sometimes over 1,000% increase in property taxes and have to sell.
That’s why we need to Reinstate Intergenerational Property Transfer Rights and #FixProp19!
Superintendent of Public Instruction
Sonja Shaw was endorsed by the Marin GOP at their September 25, 2025 regular meeting. Many members of the committee have seen her speak at local luncheons and at the 2025 Fall CA GOP convention. She’s bright, articulate and knows how to fix California schools.
Don’t split the conservative vote on this non-partisan statewide office. Support Sonja Shaw.
Insurance Commissioner
Robert Howell was endorsed by the Marin GOP at their October 30, 2025 regular meeting. Robert has been a steadfast supporter of the Marin GOP and received 4 million votes in his 2022 run for insurance commissioner. His chances have improved dramatically for 2026. Voters will find he was spot on in his assessment of insurance in our state in his 2022 ballot statement. Support Robert Howell!
State Controller
Herb Morgan was endorsed by the Marin GOP at their December 4, 2025 regular meeting. He is a nationally respected investment expert. He has a bold, tech-forward plan to bring transparency, accountability, and fiscal discipline to Sacramento. He is tech-savvy. He aims to put every agency and department ledger online. His goal is to make California the first state in America to use the blockchain for this purpose.
State Senate District 02 and State Assembly District 12
The Marin GOP endorsed Tief Gibbs for Senate District 02 and Eryn Cervantes for Assembly District 12. Both are from Marin County and both are the only Republicans that have declared for their respective offices. Should they make the “top two,” they will be able to appoint delegates from Marin County to the California Republican Party. This will increase the influence of our county in establishing the Republican Platform and the endorsement of candidates for statewide office.
Marin County Board of Supervisors
The Marin GOP has endorsed two of its own for Marin County Board of Supervisors. They have endorsed Mark Galperin for District 1 and Chris Carpiniello for District 5. Both are America First! and both will work to make Marin County more affordable for our seniors and young.
