Support KWMR

KWMR is a small radio station in Point Reyes. It serves sparsely populated West Marin. In addition to local programming, it provides an important role in emergencies such as fire, earthquake or tsunamis.

Most of KWMR’s show hosts are local talent, which more likely than not are left-leaning. But it’s worthy of note that their station manager, Amanda Eichstaedt, has frequently reached out to conservatives. Most recently she contacted the Chair and Treasurer of the Marin GOP to learn about the recent changes in our county party. Not only was it a fair, straight up interview, she invited us to return every few months.

KWMR recently lost its NPR funding, which accounted for 26% of its revenue. That loss is difficult to overcome. But there are partisan and non-partisan reasons for Marin County conservatives to support that radio station. One partisan reason is that they give a fair shake to conservatives in interviews. One non-partisan reason is that they fill an important role in public safety for our fellow citizens in West Marin.

For this reason we ask conservatives to step up and support KWMR. Find out how by visiting their website.

Let’s show everyone that a conservative solution can offset the loss of federal funding. Remember: we have to talk to each other. It takes a left wing and a right wing to fly forward in a straight course.
