In his January 3, 2025, Letter To the Editor of the Marin IJ, Joe Habadura of Tiburon argues that it is time to express our outrage at the high cost of living in California.
He cites high taxes, over regulation, and costly programs that do little to improve the lives of Californians. Instead, they contribute to excessively high costs to live in this state.
He’s right, but he failed to identify the underlying cause. We suffer from “Government by Democrats” in this one-party state, which is too costly for the services provided. The best way for Californians to express their outrage is to vote Republican in the 2026 midterms. It’s the only way to restore greatness to California.
