John Turnacliff, Chair of the Marin GOP, held his first “Coffee with the Chair” on June 1 at 2 p.m. at Smith Ranch Deli in San Rafael.
While we welcome public comment at our regular business meetings, time is often limited. These informal gatherings are designed to provide more opportunity for in-depth conversations on a range of topics and to give Republicans a chance to connect with the committee members who represent them.
This first event was a pleasant surprise, drawing about a dozen attendees, including several new faces.
John plans to expand these gatherings by hosting them in different parts of the county and hopes to hear from Republicans across Marin. He aims to hold them every two weeks—except the weekend of June 14, when we’ll be hosting our Pancake Breakfast at Lagoon Park at the Civic Center. We hope you’ll join us and support the Marin GOP!
