Members of the Marin GOP had to choose which one of two excellent candidates they should endorse for governor.
After careful deliberations, they chose Sheriff Chad Bianco. He received more votes than the two-thirds majority required to earn our endorsement. Members were swayed by his superior applicable administrative experience. Another consideration was that he won election in a blue county and re-election by nearly 20%.
Members also endorsed Ebie Lynch for Lt. Governor and Don Wagner for Secretary of State. Endorsements for candidates in the remaining statewide offices will be considered at our February regular meeting.
Once our endorsements are complete, we’ll launch our “Leave No Vote Behind” effort to get out the Republican vote. We also want them to commit to voting Republican in all contests on th ballot. Leave No Vote Behind!
